A charming late 15th/early 16th century oak angel. The winged angel is shown kneeling and holding a shield. He wears a flowing tunic and his long hair is held by a band. The left hand side of the shield and wing have been restored. Probably French circa 1500. 11 1/2 inches wide x 19 inches high.
