Drop leaf tables are very rarely large enough to sit ten people but this 18th century example in oak can certainly do that and in addition is very practical to sit at as it only has four legs. Despite this, it is very sturdy and the top is constructed from superbly figured and patinated wide oak boards. Circa 1760. 78 inches x 63 inches extended x 29 1/2 inches high. With the leaves down it is 24 inches wide.
