A late 17th century oak hooded lambing chair of panelled construction with a boarded top. The holes in the seat rails suggest that originally it had a rope seat, but the boarded seat is very well patinated and has almost certainly been there since the 18th century. Lovely rich colour and patination. Circa 1680. 29 inches wide x 53 inches high.
