An early 16th century bench, a rare survivor particularly being in walnut which is prone to worm and rot. Shaped apron and end boards. Good untouched grey colour. See "Early British Chairs and Seats" by Tobias Jellinek pages 190 & 191 for similar examples.Anglo/French circa 1530. 86 inches long x 12 inches wide x 20 inches high.
