This mid 18th century oak dresser rack has the glorious colour and patination that one often finds with Welsh oak. The rack has a demilune fretted frieze, bellied sides and a panelled back. The base has three drawers above two doors with an unusual configuration of panels. It is of size to fit in most farmhouses and cottages being 61 inches wide (on the cornice) by 22 inches deep x just 73 inches high. Probably Merioneth circa 1740.
