An elegant George III oak dresser base of narrow proportions with a moulded edge boarded top above three cock beaded drawers with their original oval handles. Below the drawers it has an apron with three ogee arches above four baluster turned front legs and the original potboard which stands on applied bracket feet. Circa 1770. See Richard Bebb "Welsh Furniture" vol. II pages 126-133 for similar examples. Superb rich colour and patination. 70 inches wide x just 15 1/2 inches deep x 33 1/2 inches high.
