A 17th century Welsh farmhouse refectory table with a lift off two plank ash top with cleated ends and an oak frame base with stop chamfered legs. The table has excellent overhang to the sides and ends making it very easy to sit at. See Richard Bebb "Welsh Furniture" fig 459 for a very similar table which is described as Breconshire 1630-1670. Superb figuring and patination to the 1 1/2 inch thick top. 77 inches long x 30 1/2 inches wide x 30 inches high.
