An interesting early 19th century armchair which has similarities to Suffolk Mendlesham chairs but is more likely to be from East Scotland as it is constructed in laburnum apart from the seat which is in wonderfully tight grained burr elm with an original knot hole patch. It measures 19 inches wide x 36 inches high. The seat height is 18 inches.
