Probably Italian and from the last quarter of the 18th century, this very versatile table would make an excellent 6/8 seater dining table, a practical work/writing table and would equally look wonderful behind a sofa. It has a 2 1/2 inch thick one piece walnut top, attractively shaped trestle ends and a pierced central stretcher. Lovely colour and patination. 70 inches long x 28 1/2 inches wide x 29 inches high.
