This lovely piece of vernacular furniture was probably estate made using timber from the estate. It has a large two plank yew wood tilting top with excellent figuring and with charming metal reinforcement to the edge. Below this, it has a baluster turned stem in elm and three rustically carved yew wood cabriole legs. Superb colour and patination. 30 inches diameter x 27 inches high.
