Attributed to Retford, Nottinghamshire, this Windsor armchair is in yew wood with an elm seat and has a fretted plat and a crinoline stretcher. Circa 1810. See Bernard Cotton "The English Regional Chair" Fig NE289 for a very similar example. 35 inches high, 19 inches seat height.
