A LATE GEORGIAN RUMMER WITH INSET SILVER COIN.

Probably dating from the early 19th century, this elegant rummer has a circular hollow stem which is inset with a silver coin. The coin, which a George II silver sixpenny piece dated 1751, has a profile head and one can work out the word "Georgius II" and some other wording. It stands 6 3/4 inches high and is in excellent condition.
