In lovely untouched dry "church" condition, this oak armchair appears to have never been polished or waxed. It retains good height and the single panel back is carved with the double heart motif that is typical of Gloucestershire workshops. The high arms suggest a date of about 1630. 38 inches high overall and with 19 inches seat height.
