A Georgian sundial with its original iron gnomon. Possibly Welsh, it is dated 1762 and bears the inscription SOLEM QUIS DICERE FALSUM AUDEAT (Who will dare say the sun is wrong) and FUGET HORA (Time flies). 10 inches square.
