Until recently in my house, this very large double gateleg table easily sits ten people and has a two part top which can be put over the existing top making it possible to seat 16. Wonderful rich dark colour. It is basically 17th century but has later restorations and I have the receipt for it dated 6th November 1989 when it cost me £6500 and I would like to achieve a figure approaching that amount.
