A George I walnut chest with two short and three long drawers, all crossbanded with herringbone inlay and with their original gilt brass handles and escutcheons. It stands on its original walnut base which has a shaped apron and four cabriole legs. Wonderful colour and patination. Circa 1720. 38 inches wide x 28 1/2 inches deep x 54 1/2 inches high.
