An early 17th century tapestry panel set in an 18th century walnut frame. It probably depicts the ancient Italian goddess Flora. Her festival, the Floralia, was celebrated with much licentiousness. She is shown with a basket of flowers sitting under a tasselled canopy accompanied by a handmaiden. 43 inches wide x50 inches high.
