Of very unusual design, this pair of oak panels depicting two men are probably Dutch judging by their clogs. They are dressed in 17th century clothes and hold sticks and one has a pipe in his mouth whilst the other has a pipe in his hand. It is possible that they were part of a box or cupboard for holding pipes and tobacco or they have been part of a tobacconists shop fittings. They have excellent detailing and colour and measure 12 inches x 8 inches.
