Recently acquired from a lovely manor house it North Suffolk where it had been since World War II, this is the nicest dresser that I have had for a long time. The rack is in elm and has a scalloped frieze, shaped sides and an integral spoon rack. The base has an elm top with a good overhang, three fielded panel drawers and two cupboards with arched fielded panels and a smaller central fielded panel. The sides and back are also panelled. The colour and patination are stunning. Circa 1720. 59 inches wide x 20 1/2 inches deep x 73 inches high.
