Acquired privately in Suffolk, this charming little coffor bach was originally from South Wales, probably Carmarthenshire. It has the typical peg type fixing of the top, two arched fielded panels to the front, a single drawer with lock and working key and bracket feet. Lovely colour and patination. For similar examples see Richard Bebb's "Welsh Furniture" vol. page 75. 26 3/4 inches wide x 15 inches deep x 18 3/4 inches high.
