It is rare to find a piece of Charles I oak seating, particularly something as humble as a form or bench, in such untouched condition with even the pegging being original. The top has a double moulded edge and good overhang to each end, baluster turned legs slightly out of the round and simple stretchers. Excellent colour and patination. 70 inches long x 11 inches wide x 21 1/2 inches high.
