Probably originally from a Suffolk church, this pair of carvings represent a dragon and a lion. Although they have clearly had a hard life, they are still very charming. The decorative style of the carving on the front of the base is very similar to the bench ends in Dennington Church. The dragon stands 12 inches high and the lion 11 inches.
