This charming piece of vernacular furniture of pegged construction probably dates to about 1800 and has great character. It has an oval one piece inch and a half thick top pierced with a carrying handle with ash legs with chamfered edges and with H stretchers in pine. The patination throughout is outstanding. It stands 20 1/2 inches high and the top is 19 inches x 12 inches.
