Sometimes described as "boar's head" dishes, this lovely baking dish has a cream slip, brown combed decoration and a pie crust edge. It is probably a London made dish from the the Isleworth Pottery. There is a very similar dish of the exact same dimensions currently available priced at £5500 and another sold at Mitchells of Cockermouth in 2017 for £5000.
