A William Kent period George II overmantel mirror comprising three bevelled edge plates, the frame in walnut veneer and giltwood with elegant scrolled sides decorated with egg and dart mouldings. Excellent rich colour. Circa 1740. 56 1/2 inches wide x 19 inches high.
