This attractive mid 17th century tapestry was probably one of a series depicting Antony and Cleopatra. It has lost its border and is a bit tatty but is of size where it could go anywhere and look great with early oak. Another tapestry in the series was sold by Sotheby's in 2004 with an estimate of £6-8000. It is measures 78 inches wide x 75 inches high.
