This is the largest delft punch bowl that I have come across - one would need a great many bottles to fill it! Quite finely potted, it could be Dutch or English circa 1710. It is profusely decorated in blue with floral designs set in panels to the exterior and with further flowers and butterflies to the interior. It is interesting to compare it with stock no. 0886! It is very sound but has some old staple repairs which blend in with the background. It measures 16 inches in diameter and is 8 1/2 inches high.
