A large and heavy Georgian ale glass of trumpet form with a tear to the stem and a folded foot rim. It could be used for beer but it would afford a generous quantity of fine red wine! Circa 1770, it stands about 8 1/2 inches high with a diameter of 4 1/2 inches.
