Dating to about 1500 and probably from Brabant, this charming little fragment is from a scene depicting The Entombment and it shows Mary Magdalene seated below the tomb. She can be identified by her long hair and was probably originally holding her emblem, an ointment pot. The carving is 10 inches high x 8 inches wide x 4 inches deep.
