Dating to the second half of the 17th century, this lovely little Deruta moulded sauce boat is double handled and the interior is decorated in polychrome with typical Renaissance motifs and centrally a roundel depicting the kneeling figure of a saint. It is 8 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches high.
