The top comprises three two inch thick elm boards with superb figuring to the timber which are secured by cleated ends. The base has elm end supports and a pine central stretcher. It is 28 inches high which is the perfect height for use with Windsor armchairs. It is of quite narrow proportions being 25 1/2 inches wide x 88 1/2 inches long.
