Probably Thames Valley, this double bow armchair is made from superbly patinated yew wood and it has a well figured elm seat. The splat is Prince of Wales' feathers type. See Harding-Hill "Windsor Chairs" page 104 for a very similar chair. 21 1/2 inches wide across the arms x 39 inches high and the seat height is 18 inches.
