AN EARLY 16TH CENTURY OAK CHEST FRONT.

Probably dating to about 1500, this oak coffer front comprises four panels elaborately carved with cross hatching with a central flower, possibly a Tudor rose. The lock plate is not original. It has a pair of iron straps so that it can be hung on the wall. 47 inches wide x 24 inches high.
