A fine quality pair of portraits of a fashionable couple in the manner of Godfrey Kneller and possibly painted from the originals for a member of the family. Whilst clearly not by Kneller himself they are very well painted and probably date to the last quarter of the 18th century. 19 inches x 17 1/2 inches across the giltwood frames and the 14 inches x 12 inches across the canvas.
