This strange but charming oil on canvas painting of an interior is probably a Victorian copy or re-interpretation of a 15th century Flemish or Italian painting. It shows a woman seated in front of an open window through which can be a seen a mountainous landscape and she has a dog lying at her feet. Although in many ways quite primitive, it does have some skill and retains its vibrant colours. 40 inches x 30 inches.
