Hard to date, but probably from the middle of the 18th century, this unusual candle stand has a superb one piece burr elm top supported by a later block, a roughly turned stem and swept fruitwood legs. There are some old metalwork repairs to the top of the stem. 18 1/2 inches diameter x 26 1/2 inches high.
