A Charles II oak armchair with a fretted crest rail carved with grapes and floral designs which are repeated on the back panel. North Country and probably Lancashire/Cheshire circa 1680. The overall height is 42 inches and the seat is 24 inches wide x 15 1/2 inches deep x 19 inches high.
