A pair of early 16th century English oak panels depicting winged beasts with human faces. Possibly heraldic, they were in the collection of the late Richard Kingston, a keen and knowledgeable collector of early carved panels. His collection was sold by Sothebys in 2009 and estimated at £500-800. 5 1/2 inches x 12 1/2 inches.
