Probably French circa 1470, this untouched oak misericord is of typical form with the moulded edge seat shown above the carved head of a woman wearing a veil under her chin and tied on the sides of her head whilst on either side are shown cornucopiae. It is probably a secular portrait piece rather than depicting a nun. 26 inches wide x 12 inches high.
