A charming early 17th century carved oak panel depicting The Nativity. Josesph is shown standing behind Mary who is kneeling in adoration and on the other side of The Christ Child, who is shown lying on a bed of straw, is a shepherd. Centrally there is a kneeling ox and an ass who is shown taking hay from a feeder. Probably Flemish circa 1620. 14 inches x 9 1/2 inches.
