Recently acquired in a good collection of early oak from a medieval house in Lavenham, this small but robust chair has fine quality carving to the crest and back panel and the high set arms and exaggerated seat shape often associated with caqueteuse chairs. Good untouched condition and colour. 40 inches high (19 inches seat height) x 25 inches wide.
