This oak lowboy dates from about 1730 and has a standard format of three small drawers. It is, however, a wonderfully eccentric piece with a large overhang to the two plank top, cabriole front legs terminating in its original hoof feet, silhouette back legs and a shaped apron to the front and sides. With lovely colour and figuring to the wood, it is a really good piece of country furniture. 31 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 28 inches high.
