A LIVERPOOL "FARMERS ARMS" CREAMWARE BEER JUG.

This massive creamware beer jug stands just over twelve inches high and dates from the end of the 18th century. It is almost certainly made in Liverpool and shows prints of "The Farmers Arms" one side, a young farmer with two attractive maidens on the other and a poem lauding the farmer's life on the front. Circa 1790.
