This fine and large carved stone head of an angel dates from the 16th or 17th century and is probably either English or French and has clearly been a decorative feature in some form of early building. It is weathered and has some traces of paint. It measures 9 inches wide x 13 1/2 inches deep x 11 1/2 inches high.
